Idioms are the backbone of Mandarin Chinese language. It’s practically impossible to be fluent in Chinese without knowing Chinese idioms. Although there are thousands of must-know Chinese idioms, I think you will need to know at least 500 idioms in order to even read the Chinese primary level books. I have collected hundreds of Chinese idioms and arranged them in the form of coloring books available on my Amazon homepage (this page/site contains affiliate links; see Affiliate disclosure). As you color these idioms and long words in 3D shapes, you will deeply feel the idioms/words and gradually get a better understanding of Chinese language and culture. In this post, I’m listing down the idiom coloring books of pocket size, the books of trim size 4″ x 6″ (10.4 x 15.24 cm). You can use these books to practice writing Chinese even if you are a beginner (HSK Level 1).
The series contains 25 books. Each book contains over 100 Chinese idioms/words in 3D format. You need to fill color in the characters and add life to the idioms/words. Pinyin and English interpretation of the words have been included for your reference. All these books are suitable for HSK All level students, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced level Chinese learners.
